David Beckham To Star In Trilogy 'Goal!'

England soccer captain David Beckham and fellow Real Madrid teammates Zinedine Zidane and Raul are to make their acting debuts in the movie trilogy Goal!, according to Reuters.

Goal! is a $100 million venture which is going to be directed by Danny Cannon, and is about a player from Los Angeles who signs for British club Newcastle United.

Beckham plays himself and will be seen in all three segments of the trilogy. "It's no secret that I want to be involved in youth coaching when I finally hang up my boots, and I believe that the 'Goal!' trilogy will provide a positive message to kids around the world," Beckham said.
