Director Andrew Davis Set For 'The Guardian'
[Wednesday, April 14th, 2004]Director Andrew Davis (Holes) has signed on to direct Walt Disney's drama The Guardian, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The project centers on a rebellious young man whose life is veering out of control. He enlists in the Coast Guard, where he forms a mentor-type friendship with a legendary rescue swimmer who lost his crew in a fatal crash.
The older man helps turn around the life of the younger man by teaching him the meaning of sacrifice.
