Peter Jackson Takes On 'Halo' Adaptation

Peter Jackson and partner Fran Walsh are set to executive produce Universal and Fox's video game adaptation Halo, says Variety.Jackson will not helm the feature. Instead his next directing project will be an adaptation of the Alice Sebold novel The Lovely Bones.
"Halo" will be shot entirely in New Zealand, where Jacksons Weta Digital and Weta Workshop will provide the FX and post services.
