Warner Bros. Deny Dumbledore Rumors
[Thursday, January 2nd, 2003]Warner Bros. is denying reports that British actor Michael Gambon ("Gosford Park") has been tapped to replace the late Richard Harris as Albus Dumbledore in the next "Harry Potter" film, reports TV Guide.
The studio also is shooting down rumors that Ian McKellen ("Lord of the Rings") is being eyed for the role.
