Third Harry Potter To Get Large IMAX Release

The third installment of the Harry Potter series is going to be big indeed with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban being released in both large-format IMAX and conventional theaters this summer.

"We are so pleased that this summer, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which lends itself beautifully to IMAX's format, will play throughout the IMAX theater network," said Dan Fellman of Warner Bros.

Richard Gelfond and Bradley Wechsler from IMAX add, "This announcement is yet another indication that we are achieving our goal of bringing the very best Hollywood event films to IMAX theaters, which we believe is key to expanding the IMAX network around the world."

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is directed by Alfonso Cuaron and scheduled for release on June 4 2004.
