Synopsis: The story of Filipina, a teacher whose husband recently had died of a drug overdose, and is thusly motivated to seek revenge on the dealer who sold him the drugs. Her plan goes awry, however, and things go tragically wrong to the point where she's arrested by a young police officer. Soon enough, Filipina finds herself strangely drawn to the young police officer. Deeply drawn to Philippa, Filippo becomes her mysterious soulmate and unexpected partner on the lam, as both search for a brief, radiant idyll in a corrupt world.
