Synopsis: Drama inspired by the "Canti" texts of the 19th-century poet Giacomo Leopardi, who exposes the permanent distress of a creator confronted by the endless misfortunes of humankind. It also derives from the Greek myth of Amphytrion and Alcimedes, and the gods'--Jupiter and Mercury, in this case--desire to feel in touch with the love of mortals.
