National Lampoon Land 'Homo Erectus'

National Lampoon has acquired worldwide rights to Adam Rifkin's caveman comedy "Homo Erectus" and set a theatrical release for September.
Rifkin wrote, directed and stars in "Homo Erectus," centered on a philosophical caveman with an unrequited love interest who's never impressed with his inventions, such as the toilet, the spoon and pants. Ali Larter, Hayes MacArthur, David Carradine, Gary Busey and Talia Shire also star.
