A drama about the chance encounter of three North African women and how "harem mentality" is not dead for all--in fact it continues to exert its baleful influence over the female members of this culture. The harem, belonging to the household, appears to have vanished from contemporary Islamic society. Accordingly, the story centers on three women of different ages and different social backgrounds, but are all victims of insidious, modern forms of harem mentality.
