Tom Hanks Set To Join 'Starbucks'

Tom Hanks is set to star in the adaptation of Michael Gates Gill's How Starbucks Saved My Life, says the Hollywood Reporter.The story, based on real events, follows an older ad executive who loses his job and family and has to go to work at Starbucks to pay the bills. He befriends the young manager and learns about life and love.
Gus Van Sant is in negotiations to direct.
