Kathryn Bigelow To Direct 'The Hurt Locker'
[Monday, October 23rd, 2006]Director Kathryn Bigelow has come aboard to helm the Iraq-set action drama The Hurt Locker, says Production Weekly.
The feature is based on a screenplay Bigelow co-wrote with Mark Boal. The story follows the exploits of an elite bomb disposal unit.
Preproduction is said to have begun, with principal photography slated for March.
