Hurt & Harden Set For 'Into The Wild'
[Thursday, June 8th, 2006]Oscar winners William Hurt and Marcia Gay Harden have both signed up for Sean Penn's Into the Wild, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Emile Hirsch, Vince Vaughn and Catherine Keener have already signed up for the movie.
The feature, based on Jon Krakauer's non-fiction book, follows Christopher McCandless (Hirsch), who graduated from college in 1992, abandoned his possessions and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness and return to nature.
He died four months later in an abandoned bus at a remote campsite. Hurt and Harden will play McCandless' parents.
