Elizabeth Banks Joins Wahlberg In 'Invincible'

Elizabeth Banks has signed to appear opposite Mark Wahlberg in Walt Disney Pictures' Invincible, says Variety.The feature, helmed by first-time director Ericson Core, is based on a Philadelphia Eagles fan who went to the team's open tryout and ended up making the squad.
Wahlberg will be playing the role of the fan, a teacher who loses his wife and job and winds up trying out for the team. Banks will play his love interest, a bartender who roots for the Eagles' arch-rivals, the New York Giants.
