Spyglass To Remake Swedish 'The Invisible'
[Monday, November 25th, 2002]Spyglass Entertainment has paid mid-six figures to option the English-language remake rights to Swedish supernatural thriller "The Invisible," to be penned by Mick Davis ("The Match"), reports Variety.
The picture concerns two young teenagers who are invisible to others, in terms of who they really are: one, due to his own untimely death, which makes him literally invisible, and the other who is metaphorically invisible due to the neglect she has experienced since the death of her own mother.
Davis wrote the original picture in English. The script was then translated into Swedish and helmed by Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist.
No director is yet attached to the remake.
