Bond Set For UK Royal Premiere
[Friday, May 31st, 2002]MGM's upcoming James Bond picture "Die Another Day" will make its world premiere as this year's Royal Film Performance Nov. 18 in London, says Variety.
It will be attended by either Queen Elizabeth or Prince Charles at a venue yet to be confirmed.
"Ali" screened at the prestigious event last year. Other recent pictures screened include "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace."
The Royal Film Performance is the main fund-raising event for the Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund. The charity, founded in 1924, helps people who have worked in any area of the film or TV biz.
