Eddie Murphy In Action Comedy 'Johnny Blaze'

Eddie Murphy is to star in the action comedy Johnny Blaze, according to Variety.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle writers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have been hired to write the project.

Murphy would play the title character, an old-school rapper who retires and becomes a private eye who solves crimes within the hip-hop world.
