Synopsis: Two Kestrels (a brown and gray European falcon) build a nest in a Swedish church steeple overlooking an idyllic village cemetery. There they lay eggs, hatch them, bring back food for their babies, and do all the things that birds do. There's no funny mood-music, nor does it anthropomorphize the birds' lives. Rather, we're treated to the birds' own view of human life: observing funerals, weddings, a religious procession--all set to the synchronous sounds of their chirping, eating, et alia.
