Following the murder of his anti-activist mother, Seymour, a mentally-challenged man, mysteriously dissappears from his home in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. While embarking upon an unexpected odyssey through the city, he is pursued by his mother's lesbian lover, Joanne. She has taken it upon herself to find Seymour and protect him, but her search becomes complicated by suspicious characters along the way.
