Synopsis:
The late Pesach'ke Burstein was one of the most acclaimed Yiddish theater actors of his day. Born into an Orthodox family in Poland and later shunned by his father for his acting ambitions, Pesach'ke emigrated to New York in 1924, finding success as a traveling actor and singer. He was later joined on the musical stage by wife Lilian Lux and children Mike and Susan. Offering both anecdotes and observations from a family of performing artists, this film chronicles what it's like to be constantly on the road.
