'LL Cool J' Joins 'Last Holiday' Remake

LL Cool JLL Cool J has signed on to join Queen Latifah in Paramount Pictures Last Holiday, says the Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is a remake of the original 1950 British comedy, which starred Alec Guinness as a poor clerk who, with only a few months to live, decides to take one last holiday, during which he's mistaken for an eccentric aristocrat.

The new movie, helmed by Wayne Wang, sees Queen Latifah play a shy clerk who goes on a European vacation after she learns that she is terminally ill. Cool J will play an ex-con who has a secret crush on Latifah's character.
