Gong Li Signs Onto Michael Mann's 'Miami Vice'

Gong Li (2046) has signed on to Michael Mann's Miami Vice, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx are respectively starring as Detectives Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs in the big-screen adaptation of the 1980s NBC series.

Mann, who executive produced the TV show, is writing, directing and producing the feature. The actress will play Isabella, the Chinese-Cuban wife of the leader of a transnational crime syndicate and Crockett's love interest.
