When New York filmmaker Stephen Earnhart recruited the denizens of a rural Florida trailer park to appear as extras in a music video he was shooting, they cajoled him into shooting a movie about their world. An eclectic foray of talent thus assembled, including Steve Walker, a grizzled Vietnam veteran and five-times-married troubadour self-described as a "drunk musician with a future"; Ricky Lix, a rock guitarist with a teeny fuse that lights a big temper; Annabelle Lea, a costume designer who preserves the body of her beloved bulldog in a backyard freezer; and Miss Jeanie, a septuagenarian yodeler who "packs the house" at a local bar, among others.
