Michael Mayer Set For 'My Friend Flicka'
[Friday, October 22nd, 2004]Michael Mayer has signed up to direct 20th Century Fox's My Friend Flicka, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Based on the classic novel by Mary O'Hara, the story centers on determined teenage girl whose father gives her the horse of her dreams. It's set against the backdrop of a modern, working ranch in Wyoming.
The project is set for a spring start in New Zealand.
