Spanish production house Kanzaman Productions has taken a co-production stake in the $17 million romantic comedy "My Life in Ruins," toplining Nia Vardalos, star and writer of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." Written by Vardalos, "Ruins" continues Vardalos' signature line in comic but troubled romance with the actress playing an American woman who tries to recover from divorce by moving to Greece and becoming a tourist guide.
