'Road to Fame' For Columbia Pictures

Sony's local production arm in Mexico is starting production today on its second feature, the comedy "Casi Divas" ("Road to Fame").
Columbia Pictures Producciones Mexico has tapped Issa Lopez ("Efectos secundarios") to direct. He also penned the screenplay for the company's first local production, "Ninas Mal" ("Charm School"), which grossed $7 million in Mexico earlier this year.
