Fred Thompson Joins 'Secretariat'

Fred Thompson (“Law and Order”) has signed on to the biopic “Secretariat,” starring Diane Lane. The film is based on the story of Triple Crown-winning racehorse and its relationship with its owner, Penny Chenery, played by Lane.
Thompson plays Bull Hancock, an old friend of the Chenery family.
