Chris Columbus Develops 'Slanted And Enchanted'

'Harry Potter' director Chris Columbus is set to develop and direct Slanted and Enchanted, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"Slanted" is described as a dramedy about a recovered pathological liar who must return home and interact with his parents in order to unravel the mystery of his sister's illness. Things spiral out of control, though, as he falls into self-destructive patterns.

The project is thought to have some magical elements at the center of the story, similar to the ones Columbus explored when he directed the first two 'Harry Potter' movies.
