Phoenix Pictures Get Involved With 'Social Crimes'
[Wednesday, November 6th, 2002]Phoenix Pictures has optioned Jane Stanton Hitchcock's novel "Social Crimes," with Joel Schumacher in negotiations to develop the project, reports Variety.
"Social Crimes" is the story of a Gotham socialite who, after she loses her position to her husband's mistress, enters a cat-and-mouse game with the younger woman to exact revenge.
Miramax Books published the novel in June.
