Antoine Fuqua Gets Involved With 'Strangers'

Antoine Fuqua is in negotiations to direct Warner Bros. Pictures' "Strangers," a reconception of the Patricia Highsmith novel "Strangers on a Train," reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, which will go out to cast shortly, is expected to go into production in the spring.

Written by David Seltzer, the project is about a tennis pro who wants to kill his wife -- whom he is in the process of divorcing -- and a cultured eccentric who wants to kill his own father. The two end up trading murders.
