Farrelly Bros Get 'Stuck On You'

Peter and Bobby Farrelly ("There's Something About Mary") have committed to direct "Stuck on You," a comedy about the adventures of conjoined twins, reports Variety.

The brothers have begun negotiations with Matt Damon and they hope to have Greg Kinnear round out the twin bill.

"Stuck on You," based on a 10-year-old script, is the story about what happens when one conjoined twin decides to follow his dreams of making it in Hollywood, and persuades his sibling to go along for the ride. The Farrellys wrote it with their "Dumb and Dumber" co-writer Bennett Yellin and with Charlie Wessler.

Farrelly stressed that even though the conjoined twin characters drive the comedy in "Stuck on You," the film does not make sport of the handicapped.

"These guys are winners, they are never victims," said Peter Farrelly. "The key to all of our films is that they had heart and this is especially true in 'Stuck on You."'

Filming will begin in February and 20th Century Fox is eyeing a late fall release.
