I may only be an extra in this film...

But I must say, I am proud to be working on a film with Kevin Costner. He has brought so many wonderful movies that have shaped our view of possible worlds. The Postman, and yes, Waterworld were genius. We revel at such movies about what the world would be like if it were destroyed, bombed, frozen over, or melted by lava... but Costner focused on the smaller details, like something as simple as re-establishing the mail system, or who takes over the petroleum fuels after the destruction is over.

Without movies like "Dances with Wolves" some of us may not have visualized the brutality of the frontier, or the injustices given to the Natives. Then there's "Wyatt Earp" that demonstrated the lawlessness of the West. And the newest film "The Guardian" This movie focuses on the EMS system, and how people are trained to save you.

We all know that the president is not elected by one person, but it's the underlying references in "Swing Vote" that we should be looking at... the true chaos of politics.
I'm sure if you look past the obvious long enough, you will see the ultimate message Costner is trying to bring into the light on this film.
