Terry Gilliam Gets On With 'Tideland'

Terry Gilliam has signed on to make the lond delayed project Tideland, according to Variety.

Tideland is adapted from Mitch Cullin's novel about a girl in rural Texas who escapes from the grim reality of her life into a world of fantasy.

She is accompanied on her adventures of the imagination by four disembodied dolls' heads, which Thomas says will be voiced by well-known actors.

It will start shooting Sept. 7 in Saskatchewan, Canada, once the director has finished Brothers Grimm.
