'Tomb Raider 2' Filming On The Greek Island

Part of the "Tomb Raider" sequel is being filmed on a Greek island, according to Ananova.

The Greek media says Angelina Jolie will be on the volcanic island of Santorini later this month.

Filming is reportedly scheduled to take place from August 26 to 31 in the northern town of Ia.

Producers are said to be looking for about 100 extras to take part in filming on the island.

"Tomb Raider II", tentatively titled "The Cradle Of Life", will also shoot on location in China and Africa with Speed director Jan de Bont.

Santorini is 63 nautical miles north of the island of Crete.
