Steve Stockman To Write And Direct 'Two Weeks'
[Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006]Steve Stockman is to write and direct the comedy Two Weeks, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"Weeks" stars Sally Field, Ben Chaplin, Tom Cavanagh, Julianne Nicholson, Glenn Howerton and Clea DuVall and revolves around four siblings who rush home to say goodbye to their sick mother (Field) only to see her hang on, trapping them together for two weeks.
The film, which received strong support from the Hamptons Film Festival, will open against three other limited releases as well as several award-contending holdovers. The R-rated film, described as a bittersweet comedy, deals with the issues surrounding a family member's death and how the remaining members must deal with it.
