Mick Jagger Playing Former Czech President
[Thursday, September 22nd, 2005]Mick Jagger is said to be considering playing former Czech president Vaclav Havel in a new film about his life, according to the Czech daily Lidove novin.
Havel had told the paper that he and Jagger had discussed the idea and that the singer was really keen. Civil rights activist Havel, 68, is a close friend of the Rolling Stone.
Havel said it was not the first time a film about his life had been discussed. He was approached by Jane Fonda 15 years ago with a similar idea.
"She wanted to make a film about me and my former wife Olga, with her playing Olga. It's probably a good thing that nothing came of it," he said.
