In this comedy set in the Middle Ages, two noble twins are separated at birth and grow up apart. One of them grows up in a castle. The other, Wat, is brought up by a friendly pig and becomes a poor peasant. Neither knows of the other's existence. While the Earl lives a comfortable and fat life, Wat toils the hard land to earn enough to survive and looks after the pig in its old age. But all is to change when a foreign power threatens the Earl with war....
