Paramount Pictures Takes On 'Wrecking Crew'
[Thursday, September 29th, 2005]Paramount Pictures has bought the rights to John Albert's memoir Wrecking Crew: The Really Bad News Griffith Park Pirates, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The story, to be adapted by Scott Kosar, chronicles the life of Albert -- a former punk band drummer, failed screenwriter and ex-junkie -- during his days playing for the Griffith Park Pirates, an amateur baseball team.
