Jumanji Sequel In Pipeline
[Friday, November 16th, 2001]Columbia Pictures is to make a sequel to the Robin Williams movie 'Jumanji'. The studio has bought the rights to 'Zathura', a forthcoming book by 'Jumanji' author Chris Van Allsburg. The book will be adapted by Eric Fogel (creator of MTV's 'Celebrity Deathmatch').
Zathura is expected to be set within the confines of an intergalactic board game, reports Variety.
Work is also believed to be under way on Jumanji 3, which is being written by Don Rhymer('Big Momma's House').
There's no word on who will direct or star in the films.
