Sunrise Entertainment have bought the rights to Nancy Lieberman's comic novel
Admissions, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The story, based in private-school admissions, follows a family that gets caught up in the antics that occur every September in New York's prestigious private-school circuit as parents do everything imaginable to get their children admitted.
"The producers immediately identified the theme that was most important to me in writing my novel: the internal struggle of a family as they strive to figure out what's best for their child," Lieberman said. "And they did this without ever losing sight of the inherent humor in the story."
