IFC Entertainment have bought the domestic rights to Eric Byler's relationship drama
Americanese, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The feature is based on Shawn Wong's 1995 novel 'American Knees'. It follows a pair of Asian-Americans as they deal with romantic issues in their lives.
The movie is slated for a release next year.
