Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek have signed up to star in
An American Haunting, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The story is set during the 1800s in Tennessee, where an unrelenting demon haunts and torments a teenage girl and her wealthy family.
James D'Arcy and Rachel Hurd-Wood have also joined the project, which is being helmed by Courtney Solomon. Shooting begins this week in Romania.
