Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts For 'August'

The Weinstein Co finally seems ready to move ahead on its long-planned adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, August: Osage County.

The company announced Wednesday that it has attached Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep to the project, which will be directed by John Wells (Company Men). TWC says it is eying a fall production start.

I enjoyed the movie. Meryl Streep was just pure awoseme.I'm a fan of Julia Child. I met her several years ago, approx 1 and half years before she died at a book signing. She was gracious enough to pose for a pic with my sister and I. Unforgettable moment.
