Baz Luhrmann Decides 'Australia' As Name

Baz Luhrmann has named his outback epic for 20th Century Fox: Australia, according to Variety.

The movie will shoot in the northern desert for five months starting in March, with workshops pegged for Fox Studios Sydney next month.

Toplined by Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, the $130 million pic is the director's first since "Moulin Rouge" in 2001.

Kidman will portray an English aristocrat who settles on an outback station in the 1930s, Jackman an Outback drover. The pair are caught up in the bombing of Darwin during WWII
