Oscars Try to Stop Ticket Auction

The Oscars organisers are filling a law suit against a Florida based company that is trying to sell two seats at the Oscars.

The tickets are being sold by Lucien Lallouz on ebay.com the current bid is for $11,400.00, starting from a $1.

The seller had obtained the tickets legally, and claims that the winner would be a guest of a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Organisers are claiming that it would be "an unacceptable security risk"

Lucien Lallouz said "An Academy member can bring anybody they want. The Academy can't say who an attendee can or can't bring.

"If Hugh Grant picked up that chick on Sunset Boulevard and decided to take her to the Academy awards, nobody could stop him from doing it. I'm not sure it's against the constitution."
