National Security) to direct the baseball comedy
Beach Warmers, according to Variety.
Story centers on three men who were poor at sports when they were kids but try to make up for it by forming a three-man team that challenges nine-player youth baseball teams.
Adam Sandler came up with the idea for the script, while Rob Schneider and David Spade are on tap to play two of the men. The third has not yet been set.
Bench Warmers is fast-tracked at Revolution for an April start date.
