Emma Thompson is the latest to join the cast of
Beautiful Creatures, Alcon’s adaptation of a young adult novel by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
The project, written and being directed by Richard LaGravanese, has been filling up its roll call. Youngsters and relative newcomers Jack O’Connell and Alice Englert earlier this week came on board to play the characters at the heart of the supernatural coming-of-age story, about two star-crossed teens, one a local boy, the other a mysterious new girl, who uncover dark secrets about their families, their history and their town. Viola Davis was the first person cast in the production last week.
