Patrick Smith Kelly has been tapped to adapt Kit Whitfield's supernatural thriller novel "
Benighted" for producer Graham King and Warner Bros.
Andrew Adamson ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe") is eyeing the project as a possible directing vehicle. King, who acquired the book in 2006, will produce via his new shingle, GK Films. Adamson also will produce. Rick Schwartz is exec producer.
