Exclusive Black Hawk Down Pictures

In the recent issue of Total Film had got some exlusive pictures of Ridley Scott's new movie, 'Black Hawk Down.' Which is also produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

'Black Hawk Dawn' is based on the non-fiction best-seller by Mark Bowden. The movie is based on the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, the worst violent ground attack since Vietnam.

The troops were dropped into Mogadishu on a routine mission that was supposed to last one hour and ended up lasting a whole night.

Black Hawks are the world's most advanced attack 'copters. And the Somalis shot two down in the conflict.

In the conflict a total of 18 US soldiers were killed and a further 73 were injured. The Red Cross estimated that the Somali suffered the death of 500.

The movie is to be released on 18 December 2001.
