Eddie Griffin To 'Blast!' On Oil Rig

Eddie Griffin ("Undercover Brother") is set to headline "Blast!," reports Variety.

The action movie is described as "Die Hard" on an oil rig.

Principal photography on the $20 million project will begin in December in South Africa, with casting ongoing.

Anthony Hickox ("Hellraiser III") will direct from a script by "Die Hard" scribe Steven E. De Souza.

"Blast!" is being produced by Motion Picture Corp. of America and IWP/Gemini Films.
