Myriad Pictures has optioned the feature rights to Leslie Forbes' bestseller "Bombay Ice," reports Variety.
Nick Willing ("Photographing Fairies") is in negotiations to write and direct pic, an adaptation of Canadian journalist Forbes' first novel.
Story, set in the dark underbelly of Indian culture, follows the journey of a BBC correspondent who is forced to return to India where she grew up when she starts receiving cryptic postcards from a long-lost sister.
"We've been looking for an exciting and thrilling story which would take place in an exotic setting like India," said Myriad Pictures prexy Kirk D'Amico.
